Introduction : Anemia due to iron deficiency in the mother can impact the growth and
development of the fetus/baby during and after pregnancy. Anemia remains a major public
health problem, and the world is currently far from the global target of reducing anemia. The
purpose of this study was to determine various risk factors for anemia in pregnant women.
Method : Research method with literature review, secondary data sources (Google Scholar,
Pubmed Central). Results : A total of 10 journals were obtained, each of which will be
reviewed. This research represents research previously conducted by researchers. According
to the table above, nearly half (30%) of these journals were published in 2021 and 2023. The
research design used was mostly (70%) chi-square analysis, and nearly half (30%) logistic
regression. Conclusions : Research literature shows that factors that influence anemia in
pregnant women are consumption of Fe tablets and the age of the pregnant woman. Education
about proper iron tablet consumption dan about anemia across all age groups, is crucial for
raising public awareness and reducing the incidence of anemia.
